【Black Sand Beach】
Aloha!
Our trip plan is going well. After we arrived at Hawaii island, we had lunch at Sunset Kai Lanai. Kai means sea and Lanai means open balcony. You can enjoy delicious hamburger here with a grand spectacle in a gentle breeze.
Leaving Sunset Kai Lanai, we reached Black Sand Beach. Lava spouted from a volcano was cooled by seawater and weathered then became black-colored sand.
Fortunately, we could see sea turtles! They dry their shells in the sun. It is prohibited to approach them within three meters. Of course students didn’t break the rule because they are very polite.
